Pertemps Network Group are currently recruiting for Civil Enforcement Officers to join a reputable housing provider within their Parking Services team.Rate: £16-£17 PAYE per/hr Contract: Temporary Working Pattern: Full-time | Shift-based (5 over 7 days) Client: Reputable Housing Provider Working Model: Fully OnsiteThis is a frontline enforcement role responsible for monitoring and enforcing parking regulations across on-street and off-street locations, including controlled parking zones and pay-and-display areas. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with parking legislation while delivering a professional and customer-focused service to residents and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol designated areas to identify parking contraventionsIssue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) using handheld devicesMonitor CCTV and camera-based enforcement systemsRecord accurate evidence including photographs and written reportsEnsure signage and road markings are compliant and report defectsProvide assistance and respond to public enquiries professionallyMaintain communication with control teams via radio systemsDrive or operate council-issued vehicles in line with proceduresReport abandoned vehicles, defects, or safety concernsAttend hearings or tribunals where requiredWork collaboratively with internal teams, police, and external partnersEssential Requirements To be consideredLevel 2 City & Guilds or WAMITAB in Parking Enforcement and Conflict ManagementFull UK Driving LicenceExperience working in a customer-facing or public service environmentAbility to deal calmly with challenging situationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience using handheld devices or mobile technologyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsFlexibility to work shift patterns including evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidaysAdditional InformationFully on-site roleCouncil vehicle provided for operational dutiesPublic transport is not suitable for operational patrol dutiesFull uniform and equipment providedCompliance checks including DVLA verification requiredPhysically demanding role requiring regular walking and outdoor workWhy Apply?
