Bartender/Waitress Full Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender and Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines. Basic cocktail experience is essential.
• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated guests responsibly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
• Engage with guests to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or bar setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Effective time management to ensure prompt service even during peak hours.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of cocktail mixing and drink presentation is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
