Bar and Wait Staff Full Time NEW

The Stonhouse Pub, a busy gastro pub off Clapham High Street, is recruiting responsible and reliable full-time & part-time front-of-house staff to start immediately.

Successful candidates will live locally, pride themselves on excellent customer service, speak English fluently, have a positive attitude and be able to work independently. You will have a very relaxed, cheerful manner with customers, but understand the importance of being fast and focused, and of communicating well with colleagues.

Floor staff will have experience serving tables and some barista knowledge would be a definite asset.

Bar staff will have experience working in a similar environment. You may have knowledge of cask ales, safe gas handling, and cellar management. Some cocktail-making experience and a basic knowledge of wines is expected, as is the ability and willingness to serve tables whenever called upon to do so.

Candidates should have:

• a fun, friendly and positive attitude
• confidence and good communication skills
• ideally experience in a pub environment
• flexibility with working hours, mainly evenings and weekend shifts are available
