Job Description
Join us as Automation & Access Engineer and help implement, automate, secure and improve our access management solution for Nuage – Sika’s global custom-built R&D data platform!
In this role you will be part of a fast-growing Global R&D Digitalization team, transforming how our global R&D function develops and working on wide range of topics – from using traditional data science techniques to optimising operational efficiency along with state-of-the-art AI solutions to identify novel construction materials.
This role is designed for remote working with occassional trips to Welwyn Garden City.
Your main tasks will be:
- Manage, test and streamline user access groups
- Manage, respond to and resolve access tickets
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the access setup, ensuring that access groups are seamlessly replicated on all required systems
- Automate and streamline communications between and within cloud and on-premises systems
- Assist the global team in configuring Sika’s innovation platform
Qualifications
- Higher education or proven track record of relevant working experience
- Strong programming ability towards data analysis and cleanup on messy sources
- Excellence in task automation, especially using Microsoft solutions such as Azure and Power Automate
- Good understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, including JSON parsing etc.
- Conceptualisation and building of processes for new security and project workflows
- Project leadership and accountability
