Lincolnshire County Council’s Development Management Team plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering vibrant, sustainable communities across the county.
Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an Assistant Development Management Officer (ADMO) to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of key infrastructure projects, including the assisting of project management of new highway construction and highway improvement schemes.
About The Role
There is a varied and challenging workload on offer, which includes;
Supporting the Development Management Officers by carrying out administration duties in relation to Key stages, Bond reductions and Highway adoptions.
The ADMO attends site to check “as built” drawings to ensure accurate records for Highway adoption and communicating with developers when necessary.
The role also involves identifying where Advanced Payment Codes need to be served by assisting the Principle Development Management Officer and responding to enquiries regarding Section 38 agreements.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of development while consistently meeting demanding deadlines.
Ideal candidates will complement our collaborative and personable team, where working together and supporting one another is core to our values.
Applicants should have awareness and some knowledge in the highways sector and can positively apply their technical skills while working effectively with others.
Please note this role requires you to be mobile throughout areas of Lincolnshire and therefore a valid driving licence and use of a car is required.
Hybrid working is a feature of this role. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office regularly however there will be an opportunity to work from home.

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.
