Role: AI Strategist
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $120,000 – $175,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring an AI Strategist to translate AI capabilities into business strategy. The role bridges executive vision and technical reality — finding the use cases that matter and shaping the path to deliver them.
Key Responsibilities
– Define AI strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities
– Identify and prioritise AI use cases across functions
– Build business cases for AI investments and track value delivered
– Advise leadership on emerging AI capabilities and competitive moves
– Partner with engineering, product, and data on implementation paths
– Develop AI governance frameworks and risk approaches
Required Skills and Qualifications
– 5+ years in strategy, consulting, or AI/ML product roles
– Strong understanding of modern AI capabilities and limitations
– Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence
– Experience shaping strategic narratives for boards and senior leaders
– Comfort working across business and technical contexts
– MBA or advanced degree preferred
