You will lead engagements from strategy through to execution, enabling the shift toward AI-enabled enterprises whilst contributing to the growth of our AI Strategy practice.YOUR ROLEWe lead AI strategy and vision, defining enterprise ambition for AI, GenAI, and agentic systems by identifying high-impact use cases (e.g. copilots, digital workers) and developing investment strategies and scalable roadmaps that deliver measurable value.We drive AI-enabled transformation, reimagining business models, products, and operations through intelligent automation, and determining where AI augments human work versus where autonomous agents deliver end-to-end processes.We build and scale AI capabilities, designing and implementing enterprise AI platforms, agent orchestration layers, and operating models, embedding the skills, processes, and governance needed for sustainable adoption.We deliver execution and responsible outcomes, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps with clear ownership, milestones, and value metrics, while ensuring robust governance, risk management, and ethical, compliant AI adoption.We accelerate delivery and develop talent, leveraging AI to drive innovation (e.g. rapid prototyping and automation), while mentoring teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI transformation programmes.As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events. We are looking for individuals who combine strategic thinking, technical fluency, leadership capability, and commercial mindset to drive meaningful AI transformation.Key SkillsLead AI-driven transformation – Will have experience of leading teams, delivering end-to-end data, AI, and GenAI strategy engagements from discovery to execution, driving measurable business impact, provide a consultative approach when supporting clients in a Consulting capacity, and have a background as a strategic consultant. Translate AI into business value – Turn advanced capabilities (GenAI, LLMs, RAG, copilots, agentic systems) into clear, actionable strategies Engage and influence executives – Build trusted relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders to shape decisions and outcomes Drive commercial success – Identify opportunities, scope engagements, and contribute to revenue growth with strong consulting and financial acumen Champion innovation and thought leadership – Develop market-leading propositions and guide organisations through AI-enabled transformation SC Clearance – Required/EligibleDesirable ExperienceCross-Industry Experience - Ability to work across diverse industries, including public sector (e.g. Central Government and Defence) and private industries such (e.g. Manufacturing, Automotive, Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail and Financial Services) as a strategic consultant who has delivered several project life cycles. Technical Knowledge – Hands-on or applied experience with: Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, copilots, multimodal AI) Agentic AI (autonomous agents, multi-agent workflows, tool integration) Broad strategic knowledge Scaling AI Experience – Experience designing and implementing enterprise AI operating models, including platform-based or product-led approaches Agile Delivery Leadership - Proven track record of applying Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex data and AI solutions at scale. Business development – Skilled in leveraging organisational relationships, company networks and your own connections to generate c. £1m in consulting revenues Personal AttributesGrowth mindset and curiosity – Always learning, experimenting and pushing boundaries. Excellent Communication & Collaboration – Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Passionate about driving change through data and AI. T-Shaped Expertise – Specialisation in AI strategy combined with broad consulting experience across adjacent areas such as data strategy, data and AI operating models, change management, value realisation and transformation delivery. Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions. Experience of proposition building and delivery. Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2m of consulting revenues (Director) /c.4m of consulting revenues (Vice President).
