A exciting position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Secretary/Administrative Support to the Acute Services Directorate.

It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, being able to work on your own, using initiative, as well as working as part of a team. You will have previous secretarial experience with a working knowledge of IT applications, including databases, along with a good knowledge of office procedures. You should have good keyboarding skills and able to prioritise tasks to enable you to work within a timescale. Very good organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work are also essential.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
