Our Breast Screening Booking Clerk / Receptionist will provide efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and patient facing reception cover and all associated tasks with strict adherence and compliance to the National Breast Screening Service and Trust’s Patient Access Policy.
You will ensure that patients are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect.
- Handling inbound and making outbound calls
- To always work in strict adherence and compliance to the National Breast Screening Service and the Trust Policies
- Booking, cancelling and rearranging of appointments
- To ensure the systems of managing appointments for patients who have failed to attend (DNA’s) are in accordance with the Trust and Breast Screening DNA policy
- Checking patients in for Outpatient appointments
- Management of patient notes (tracering, requesting, etc.)
- Associated administration tasks
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Use of hospital systems to effectively support the management of the patient journey
- Liaising with colleagues at all levels to ensure the patient journey is smooth
- To always uphold the Trust Values
