About you

We’re looking for a passionate Buying Admin Assistant with at least one year of experience in a fashion Buying team who is ready to take the next step in their career and join our dynamic, fast-paced Buying department.

Nobody’s Child is a small, agile, and passionately run business. You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive, and a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. Most importantly, you’ll share and champion our brand ethos in everything you do.

Reporting to an Assistant Buyer, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across multiple product areas, helping the team deliver collections from concept through to launch.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and updating the department critical path, feeding back to the Assistant Buyer during weekly critical path meetings
• Raising accurate purchase orders for own brand and wholesale partners
• Supporting the Buying team with administrative tasks and meeting preparation
• Updating the weekly fit list and highlighting seal deadlines and other key critical path milestones
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships at BAA level
• Supporting sample management, including organising samples for e-commerce, campaign, and content shoots
• Ensuring samples are prepared and ready for internal meetings
• Preparing shoot lists and liaising with the E-commerce team to ensure products are photographed and ready to go live on time
• Providing general administrative support to the Buying team
• Actively contribute to our company’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work. This includes minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing, supporting our circular economy initiatives, and encouraging customers and colleagues to make choices that align with our sustainability values. Every team member at NC plays a role in helping us reduce our environmental impact and create a positive legacy for our communities and the planet.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience working at Buying Admin Assistant level within a fashion retailer
• Understanding of, and experience working with, a garment critical path
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly across product, processes, and systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
