Investment Data Procurement – Global Hedge Fund – Large Comp Package Full Time

Our client, an industry leading multi-billion dollar AuM hedge fund, is looking to hire a Data Procurement Specialist into their global Data Management function. This is a newly created hire as a result of rapid global growth that the fund is currently experiencing. The hire will be working on data and vendor management and procurement across the spectrum of investment data: market data, reference data, alternative data, fundamental data and taking an active role in managing relationships with existing vendors and building/sourcing relationships with new vendors. You will work closely with the investment teams to understand strategy and the specific data they would require and act as the broker of information to source, onboard and provide relevant datapoints to the investment team. The hire will play a key role in the enhancement and development of a centralized global function over the next few years as the fund continues to grow in AuM and geographically.Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience working on data sourcing/ market data procurement with a strong knowledge of vendor management and contract/licensing structure negotiation and a strong existing network within the market data, alternative data and fundamental data space. Experience working multi asset / derivatives is very useful.The role can pay up to a £150k TC initially.
