Salary: £75,000 + bonus & benefits
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
A fast-growing UK-based software company is seeking a Head of Workplace Services to lead and develop its internal technology function. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape how systems, tools, and support services enable the wider business.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a scaling environment and enjoys improving how technology supports people, processes, and productivity.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead a team of 5, responsible for delivering reliable and efficient workplace technology services across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure systems and processes are aligned to business needs and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and deliver the Workplace Services strategy aligned to business objectives
- Translate priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes
- Act as a senior escalation point and represent the function at leadership level
Business Technology Support
- Partner with teams across the business to understand and deliver technology improvements
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems and ways of working
- Support the ongoing management and optimisation of business applications
Vendor & SaaS Management
- Oversee relationships with software vendors and service providers
- Manage procurement, renewals, and cost optimisation
- Ensure systems meet business, security, and operational requirements
Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive improvements in workflows and reduce manual processes
- Support the adoption of new tools and technologies where appropriate
- Encourage effective and consistent use of systems across teams
IT Service Delivery
- Oversee IT support performance and user experience
- Ensure effective onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes
- Maintain clear documentation and knowledge resources
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure Workplace Services operates within company policies and standards
- Support security, risk, and compliance initiatives
- Maintain appropriate access controls and audit-ready processes
About You
- Proven experience leading IT, Workplace, or Business Technology functions
- Experience in a growing or fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of modern workplace tools (e.g. Microsoft 365)
- Experience managing vendors and business systems
- Track record of improving processes and operational efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a balanced approach to risk and delivery
