Crewe Heritage Centre is a local history museum situated in Crewe, England, managed by the Crewe Heritage Trust. The museum is located a short walk from both Crewe railway station and the town centre, offering a unique glimpse into Crewe’s local and railway history. The site holds historical significance as it was formerly the location of the ‘Old Works,’ which was demolished in the early 1980s. The centre serves as a testament to Crewe’s rich railway tradition, preserving historic locomotives and hosting educational exhibits for the community.

Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Retail Volunteer at Crewe Heritage Centre, located in Crewe. The role involves assisting with day-to-day retail operations, providing excellent customer service, handling product displays, and managing sales transactions. Volunteers will also engage with visitors to ensure a positive shopping experience while offering information about the products and the Heritage Centre.

Training

All necessary training will be provided and paid for by the Heritage Centre, so no prior retail experience is required.
