We are also one of a very limited number of businesses able to produce semolina from Durum wheat in one of our specialist mills. Allied Mills is the UK’s third largest miller and mills wheat for everything from bread to bagels, baguettes and biscuits, pasties to pastries, doughnuts, cookies, burger buns and pizzas, naan bread and chapattis, noodles and pasta. Overview Of Role

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

Hours: 6am – 2:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Holiday Entitlement: 25 + bank holidays

We have a great opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join an experienced team, providing a first-class service at our flour mill. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure agreed standards of cleanliness, pest control and hygiene are maintained across the site.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate to procedures as defined within the site Quality, Food & Feed Safety, Environment and Health & Safety systems.
• Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene/cleaning schedules
• Self hygiene auditing
• Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report repairs
• The minimisation and careful control of remix and refuse
• The occasional unloading of materials
• Liaison and communication with all departments across the site
• Engages in the Safety-First culture and compliance with AMB internal policies and procedures
• Ensures their own development and training needs are identified, participating in the proactive environment.
• Actively participates and contribute in the sharing of “Best Practice” within a food manufacturing environment.
