Position OverviewJob Title: Investment Banking Coverage – Building, Property and Real Estate (Deutsche Numis)Location: LondonCorporate Title: AnalystThe Building, Property and Real Estate team (BPRE) sits within Deutsche Banks’s Investment Bank & Capital Markets division. The team is one of the largest sectors from a United Kingdom client coverage perspective, retained by 22 listed corporate clients averaging a market cap of £1.6 billion, across the construction, building materials/manufacturing, and real estate sectors.On a day-to-day basis you will service a number of retained and target corporate clients (listed/unlisted), be involved in pitches to financial sponsors, offer Corporate Finance advice and work on a variety of transaction types including, but not limited to, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Merger and Acquisitions (M&A).What We’ll Offer YouA healthy, engaged and well-supported workforce are better equipped to do their best work and, more importantly, enjoy their lives inside and outside the workplace. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for themCompetitive salary and non-contributory pension30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional daysLife Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your familyA range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefitsThe opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per yearYour Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in providing strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, M&A and defence adviceSupport with M&A, ECM and other transaction processes within the BPRE sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing other advisersUndertake and develop, strong technical skills including financial analysis, modelling, valuation and sector knowledgeCoordinate and produce marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsorsService clients day-to-day, expressing relevant information and communicating clearly in meetings and emails; delivering solutions to clients using sector, market and product knowledgeEngage with the broader Deutsche Numis equities platform and Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clientsYour Skills And ExperiencePrevious relevant experience within a Real Estate Corporate Finance role is preferred. However, we are equally happy to consider candidates who have completed an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent qualification and have gained Corporate Finance experience.Experience within wider Industrials or Real Estate sectors preferableFinancial modelling experience Good communication skills together with interpersonal skills are key given the highly client focusing nature of the role.
