With a small portfolio of high-value projects currently underway, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping environmental and social outcomes from project development through to construction and operation.Working closely with internal stakeholders, lenders, regulators, consultants and local communities, you’ll lead the management of Environmental & Social (E&S) requirements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with international lender standards and national regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate Environmental & Social activities across project lifecyclesManage the procurement and review of key E&S deliverables, including:Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)Environmental & Social Management Plans (ESMPs)Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs)Environmental and social monitoring programmesOversee specialist consultants and contractorsSupport construction teams on E&S compliance and stakeholder engagementEnsure alignment with international lender requirements, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and ECA expectationsEngage with regulators, communities and project stakeholders to manage environmental and social risks effectivelyAbout YouWe’re keen to hear from candidates with:Significant experience delivering or reviewing ESIAs for infrastructure, energy, built environment or industrial projectsStrong environmental management and regulatory compliance expertiseExperience working to IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and international financing requirementsExcellent stakeholder engagement and project management skillsConsultancy or owner’s engineer background with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyExperience working on international projects, particularly within emerging markets, would be advantageousWhy Apply?Join a growing international EPC business with a strong project pipelineWork on a diverse portfolio of impactful infrastructure projectsExposure to international lenders, export credit agencies and government stakeholdersHybrid London-based role with opportunities for international travelOpportunity to influence environmental and social performance at project and corporate levelIf you’re an experienced ESIA and Environmental Management professional looking to work on complex international infrastructure developments, we’d love to hear from you.Apply Now!Allen & York – delivering Sustainable Recruitment Solutions since 1993.About UsAllen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years.
