Project Manager (Digital Transformation)
Location: Bedfordshire Area (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week onsite
An established organisation is undergoing a significant digital transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple business and technology initiatives.
This role will suit a Project Manager who is comfortable operating in a PMO-style environment, overseeing a portfolio of projects rather than taking ownership of a single workstream. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to coordinate delivery across a range of transformation activities, ensuring projects remain aligned, on track and delivering value to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent transformation projects.
Drive project governance, planning, reporting and stakeholder communication.
Support the implementation and adoption of new digital tools and technologies.
Coordinate business change activities across operational and technology teams.
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide visibility and reporting to senior leadership on programme status.
Experience Required
Proven experience delivering business and digital transformation projects.
Strong Project Management background within complex organisational environments.
Experience working within PMO or portfolio-style delivery functions.
Agile delivery experience and understanding of modern project methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Experience supporting technology change initiatives and software/tool implementations.
Desirable Experience
Experience with AI-related projects, automation initiatives or emerging technology implementations.
Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure or operationally focused organisations.
Experience delivering organisational change and process improvement programmes.
Additional Information
Outside IR35 engagement.
Hybrid working model with regular onsite presence required.
