Commercial/Tech Lawyer, Financial Services Full Time NEW

Our Client

We are working with a leading financial services client looking for a Commercial Lawyer in the 3-6 PQE level range to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be providing strategic legal advice on a variety of matters on a cross border basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements. vendor contracts, outsourcing agreements and customer terms and conditions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tech specific contracts incl. SaaS agreements, data protection provisions etc.
• Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the company’s operations align with legal requirements.
• Advise on data protection and corporate governance issues, including company policies, shareholder agreements, and board resolutions.
• Assisting with regulatory compliance
• Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with experience working in a leading law firm or in-house institution
• Commercial contracts experience
• Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
