Badham Pharmacy arelooking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic pharmacist manager to join our teams across Gloucestershire, and this is a rare opportunity to join us in one of our established pharmacies, in fact this branch is where it all began for us back in 1940!This vacancy is in the Whaddon Road branch in Cheltenham GL52 5NF approximately 10 minutes from junction 9/10 of the M5.The vacancy is 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday 09.00-17.30pm and some Saturday work 0900-1300 on a rota basis.We are also able to consider part time applicants for this role, if you are looking for 5 days a week an additional day in another branch can also be discussed.The branches offer services such as hypertension, pharmacy first, contraception and NMS and there is the scope to develop the services offering further to include travel vaccines, weight management and more private services.The current trade is around7,000 items a monthand includes some MDS trays and methadone patients. The branch is ideal for a newly qualified pharmacist ready to take a career step into an established pharmacy with an experienced team around them or an experienced pharmacist looking for a new challenge.The branch uses the Pharmacy X system for dispensing which allows Pharmacists much more free time to carry out essential services in the community.We are currently expanding our services offering to include travel vaccines, weight management clinics and much more and see our pharmacists as the leaders of offering a range of services in our branches.With the launch of Pharmacy First representing a fundamental change in the way Pharmacies are run and funded, now could be the opportunity you have been looking for to join a well known local community pharmacy.Our branches have never been busier and this is an exciting opportunity for pharmacists to join an award winning, innovative and expanding family run business with branches across Gloucestershire & Bristol.We seek a commercially focused pharmacist with excellent clinical skills who can communicate effectively with customers, staff, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. You will lead by example with excellent customer service skills to provide the very best healthcare services to the communities in and around Gloucestershire. This branch would be equally suited to a newly qualified pharmacist or someone with more experience.Undertake the role of responsible pharmacist at the pharmacyManage the safe and effective delivery of all pharmaceutical services at branch level including blood pressure, contraceptive services, flu jabs and all Pharmacy First servicesMaintain and improve peoples’ health by promoting Healthy Living Pharmacy servicesEnsure the effective and efficient running of the pharmacy, leading by exampleEnsure the pharmacy engages with all commissioned services and complies with the quality frameworkDevelop the pharmacy business through relevant initiativesStrong leadership of a team of technicians, dispensers and counter assistantsWe value our staff greatly.
