About This Role
Mid-day Supervisory Assistant
Greentrees Primary School
Salary: B3, £24,796 pro rata, per annum
Actual Salary: £3510 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Part-time
Working hours: 6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11.50am to 1.05pm, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a caring and responsible individual who enjoys working with children. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a positive difference to pupils’ lunchtime experience. You will help ensure children are safe, happy, and engaged during lunch and play, working as part of a team or independently under the guidance of the Senior MDSA.
The ideal candidate will be approachable, patient, and proactive in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, while supporting the school’s ethos, values, and safeguarding practices. This role offers the chance to play an important part in the school day, helping children enjoy their lunch break safely and positively.

Our School
Greentrees Primary School is a two site two form entry Primary School with a 12 place Resource Base. The school is situated on the outskirts of Salisbury. The school has strong international links and has an enquiry led skills based broad and balanced curriculum. The school prides itself on its behaviour. It is also committed to teaching children how they learn as well as the content of the curriculum. The school uses Guy Claxton’s 4 Rs of Learning and Carol Dweck’s Growth Mindset model to achieve this.
