Bookstore Coordinator Full Time

As a Bookstore Coordinator, you will help oversee daily store operations, support customer engagement, coordinate events, and ensure the bookstore remains an inspiring space for readers and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bookstore operations and administrative activities
• Support inventory management, stock organisation, and merchandising
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist visitors with book recommendations
• Organise in-store events, author signings, and community activities
• Coordinate supplier orders, deliveries, and bookstore communications
• Maintain visual presentation standards throughout the store
• Support sales reporting, scheduling, and operational processes
• Assist with marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
• Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for customers and staff

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in retail, bookstore operations, administration, or customer service
• Passion for books, literature, and community engagement
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Professional, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office is advantageous
