We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to ensure the smooth running of the Distribution Centre and acting as a champion for customer service and business improvement. Aligning with the company’s strategic objectives, you will support the responsibility for the performance of the Distribution Centre and Trade Counter: Workflow, Employee development, support of physical resources and Health & Safety compliance.

The successful candidate will be a practical, team-oriented individual who will assist with deliveries, warehouse operations, and provide direct customer support at the trade counter.

As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative with Kooltech, you will:

• Deliver goods to our customers at most efficient and professional manner.
• Pick , pack , prepare and load vehicles using forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
• Support the trade counter by welcoming customers, processing sales orders, handling inbound telephone calls, and responding to customer enquiries.
• Support efficient planning and execution of delivery schedules; minimizing transport and carriage costs whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Ensure complicity with Health and Safety regulations.
• Ensure that delivery routes are planned as efficiently as possible.
• Make sure that the correct processes are followed to reduce the risk of failed deliveries.
• Work with the Driver/Warehouse staff to make sure delivery vehicles are maintained to company standards.
• Ensure that product stock remains within pre-defined minimum and maximum levels; stock wastage is kept to a minimum and that aged stock is cleared in line with company policy.
• Ensure cyclic checks and full stock-audits are executed in line with company procedures.
• Ensure the good housekeeping of the warehouse and trade counter area.
• Maintain and constantly strive to improve Kooltech’s high standards of customer service.

• Have an experience in delivering goods
• Worked in warehouse
• Possess knowledge of stock rotation and driver checks/reports.
• Are able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
