You’ll combine data-driven decision making, market analysis, and commercial strategy to identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and support market expansion initiatives across the region.We’re looking for someone with a strategy and growth background who has led go-to-market and expansion initiatives across Spain, Italy, and broader European markets, and thrives in fast-paced environments where analytics and local market insight drive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead go-to-market strategy and growth planning for key European markets, with a focus on Spain, Italy, and emerging expansion territoriesDevelop data-driven growth strategies across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization to drive subscriber and revenue growthAnalyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitive landscapes, and distribution ecosystems to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisionsBuild business cases and evaluate market expansion opportunities across partnerships, pricing, channels, and new market entry strategiesPartner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Content, Partnerships, Lifecycle, Finance, and Global GTM teams to execute regional growth initiativesOptimize customer acquisition and lifecycle performance through experimentation, analytics, and performance insights across digital, partnership, and media channelsProvide regional market insights and strategic recommendations to improve product-market fit, content relevance, and user experienceSupport strategic partnerships with telcos, pay-TV providers, aggregators, payment partners, and other distribution platformsOwn regional KPI tracking and performance reporting across subscriber growth, revenue, CAC, LTV, churn, and channel performanceTranslate complex data and insights into clear recommendations, GTM frameworks, and actionable growth plansHelp develop scalable GTM playbooks, best practices, and experimentation frameworks across European marketsThis role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite at our London office.About YouWe get excited about candidates, like you, because…8+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, go-to-market, growth, or business operations roles within streaming, entertainment, media, consumer technology, or telecom industries in EuropeExperience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and/or leading international expansion and GTM initiatives in high-growth environments is strongly preferredDeep understanding of the European media and digital ecosystem, including streaming platforms, telcos/ISPs, payments, and distribution partnerships, with particular expertise in Spain and ItalyProven track record of using data, analytics, and commercial insights to drive subscriber growth, revenue, engagement, and market expansionStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, including experience with forecasting, financial modeling, business case development, and executive-level presentationsExperience developing market-entry strategies, regional growth plans, and scalable GTM frameworks across multiple marketsComfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and complex cross-functional environments while influencing stakeholders across global and regional teamsStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsExperience working across multiple European markets and cultures; fluency in English required, with Spanish or Italian language skills a plusAdvanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and business performance analysis; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Looker, or similar analytics tools is a plusMBA or equivalent graduate degree preferredPassion for anime, entertainment, streaming, gaming, or youth culture is a strong plusAbout The TeamBoth domestic and ever-expanding international efforts fuel Crunchyroll’s global expansion.
