Picker and packer Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our sweets warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Duties

• Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring correct quantities and product integrity
• Handle sweets safely, including lifting heavy loads and manoeuvring stock
• Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organising inventory within the warehouse
• Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and maintain a clean, organised workspace
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times during handling, packing, and loading activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, or related roles is preferred
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating equipment such as forklifts
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking & packing tasks
• Good understanding of quality control standards within a warehouse environment
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with stock movement equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high accuracy standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.75 per hour
