Network and Security Cloud SME Full Time NEW

• Strong experience in designing and deploying network and network security on both the campus and virtual/cloud datacenter.
• Strong experience in implementing network and security on both physical and virtual routers/switches/LB/Firewalls.
• Strong experience on products from Cisco like Cisco Fire Power FTDs, Cisco Umbrella SASE, Cisco Client, Cisco Meraki (Wireless, Switching, SD-WAN), and Azure Network technologies,
• Assess and review the current network architecture and propose relevant recommendations for both on-premises and cloud network infrastructure that includes Routing & Switching, Firewall, Load Balancers, Cloud proxy, Network Segmentation etc,
• Knowledge and experience on IaaS and PaaS cloud network security.
• Exposure and good understanding in core tenants to be considered when designing, developing, and deploying on Azure Cloud, especially the Network components (WAF, DDoS, Firewalls, NSGs, Routing).
• Good understanding on managing applications at scale and how cloud addresses problems faced when designing distributed scalable applications that are deployed across regions.
• Knowledge and experience on Network segmentation and Micro segmentation on both on-prem and cloud, and Cloud Native is optional.
• Must have worked on projects involving migration of datacenter from cloud to cloud or on-prem to cloud.
• MPLS technologies, SD-WAN Technologies from Cisco Meraki/ Viptela/ Silver Peak, VeloCloud / Versa.
• Load Balancing technologies from Azure Native load balancers, that includes External, Internal Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Azure Traffic Manager, Azure Front Door etc.,
• 10 or more years of experience with designing, integrating and troubleshooting IP networks.
• In depth knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.), MPLS, QoS, Multicast, VPLS and VPRN, Network Segmentation.
• Experience Designing and implementing Azure Network that includes, VNETs, Hybrid Connectivity (ExpressRoute and IPSec VPN), Network Security, Load Balancers, WAF, DDoS, etc

• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language appropriate to both executive and managerial audiences.
• Network SME works in a consultative manner with the customer and internal team to gather appropriate information to create an IP network architecture and detailed design.
• The network SME is the trusted advisor with the customer, advising the customer to make network SME, technical and business decisions that meet the customer’s business objectives.
