Marketing Assistant (Remote) Full Time

The Marketing Assistant supports our outbound marketing and business development. The role covers database development, LinkedIn ghostwriting and outreach, and drafting email and social campaigns for our EPA support packages and AI workshops. This is an early-career role — we’ll bring you up to speed on the apprenticeship and training side, and on how we like to communicate.

Key Responsibilities

Database development

• Build and maintain our contact database of employers, prospects, and partners
• Research and add new contacts from agreed target lists
• Keep records clean, deduplicated, and tagged so they’re useful for campaigns

LinkedIn ghostwriting and outreach

• Draft LinkedIn posts and comments for senior team members to publish under their own names, matching each person’s voice
• Send connection requests and follow-up messages to grow our reach in target sectors
• Track what’s working and feed it back into the next round

Campaign drafting

• Draft email and LinkedIn campaigns for our EPA (End Point Assessment) support packages
• Draft email and LinkedIn campaigns for our AI workshops
• Work with the team to refine messaging, then help schedule and send

Wider support

• Help with other marketing tasks as they come up — simple graphics, lead research, list building

Person Specification

• Strong writing skills — clear, friendly, accurate
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and willing to learn a CRM
• Curious, proactive, and happy working remotely
• Some marketing experience (placement, internship, agency stint, side project) is useful but not essential
• An interest in apprenticeships, training, EPA, or AI is a bonus

What we offer

• £26,000–£28,000 depending on experience (full-time), or £13,000–£14,000 pro rata for 0.5 FTE
• 28 days of leave plus bank holidays, 3% pension contributions
• We are also open to outside-IR35 freelance workers — please let us know your day or hourly rate (typical range for this work is £180–£240/day)
• Fully remote working, with optional access to our shared office at Bristol and Bath Science Park
