Customer Service Assistant – Full time position available (9.00am – 5.30pm. 5 days Between Mon-Sat)

Who are we?
Mays are the largest independent Pawnbrokers & Jewellers in the North West.
We have been serving the Greater Manchester area since 1825 based on the principles of the best jewellery and watches, at the lowest prices with the highest level of customer service.
The Role
We are looking for motivated and driven staff who are committed to fantastic customer service whilst achieving targets, KPIs and maintaining Company standards.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and friendly attitude, an understanding of retail, sales targets, add-on sales and KPIs.
An experience of working in retail or with jewellery, diamonds and watches would be desirable however the right personality with a passion for sales, visual merchandising and teamwork is just as important.
You will be expected to present yourself, the store and the Company impeccably and help drive it forward through achieving sales and your understanding of customer requirements.
In addition to keeping the store looking great, an undertaking of general housekeeping and admin is necessary.
This role will require the issuing of financial transactions and credit agreements in a retail and pawnbroking environment.
At Mays, we believe that attention to detail is paramount and whilst full training will be given, the suitable candidate will have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, an understanding or experience of data entry through a company computer system and the ability to create and maintain accurate records
