It requires curiosity, credibility, and the confidence to challenge and rethink how things have always been done.In return, you will have the opportunity to shape a system that genuinely works better for children, young people, and families; and leaves a lasting legacy.About the Role:You are a Data Analyst who understands that insight drives change. You have worked with data in a local authority or public service context and are confident navigating complex datasets across children’s services, education, health, and partners. You understand performance, demand, and what sits behind the numbers.You can visualise and explain data to non-technical audiences and care about using evidence to improve outcomes.You will have a degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., data/analytics, statistics, social science, economics) or substantial relevant experience.You will bring: Strong analytical capability, with experience handling multi-agency or public sector datasets Confidence using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL (or similar) to analyse and present data Experience producing dashboards and insight that inform operational and strategic decisions Ability to interrogate data and translate insight clearly for frontline teams to senior leaders Focus on impact, linking data to outcomes for children and families You will play a key role in helping us understand whether Families First is working locally and where we need to shift, adapt, and improve.What you’ll do: Produce monthly dashboards and statutory/corporate returns Build analytical models to spot trends, risks, and opportunities Improve data quality and definitions across systems Translate complex analysis into practical, accessible insights#A collaborative team, purposeful work, hybrid working, and development opportunities—your analysis will directly shape early help decisionsHow to Apply:To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence how you meet the shortlisting criteria on the personal specification marked “A” for application :JD and Person SpecificationWe operate an anonymised application process, so be sure to remove personal details when uploading your CV or personal statement.Advert closing date: 11:59pm on Sunday, 24 th of MayPlease click here to view: Lambeth Staff BenefitsSuccessful candidates will be asked to apply for a Basic Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
