Why Investors for Purpose?
Investors for Purpose is a membership organisation that brings together institutional investors, their managers and advisers to align investment decisions with long-term positive impact and value.
We help lead the conversation on integrating sustainability and impact into investments. Through learning, policy insight, structural change guidance and governance support, we help our members embed impact into how they think, operate and invest. Our independence allows us to create a trusted space where our members can collaborate openly and solve shared challenges.
We believe the investment system must deliver sustainable outcomes – for members and the world we retire into. That’s why we work with institutional investors, policy makers and other partners who use their agency to shift capital, to drive change and deliver outcomes that benefit people and planet alongside profits.
As a Certified B Corporation, we consider society and the environment in every decision we make. Our team is passionate, driven and motivated, thinking laterally about solutions. A largely online business with staff based at home and a meritocratic and transparent culture, we offer a flexible working environment to encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Our CEO presents the business plan and financials to employees in the same way they are presented to the Board. Bottom line – we want change, so we have to be the change.
