About The Day Unit & Education Team
The CYPMH Day Unit provides assessment and treatment of the mental health needs for children and young people. The education provision at the Day Unit is provided by Lancashire Hospital Education Services (LHES). The LCC Education Team, as part of the Day Unit, works closely with clinical colleagues to deliver statutory Section 19 education. We offer a structured daily timetable and some outreach work, provided by support staff, focusing on re-integration. Pupils are mainly of secondary age, of the full ability range and remain on-roll at their home schools.

The Education Unit closes for the Easter holidays Friday 27 March and re-opens Monday 13 April.
This position is part time and term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro – rata basis.
