Project Management Officer Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Digital Delivery PMO Manager to lead the Project Management Office for a high-profile, multi-billion pound Major Infrastructure Transformation. This isn’t just a tech project; it is a once-in-a-generation build where we are integrating cutting-edge digital ecosystems directly into the physical estate.

You will be the bridge between our technical workstreams and the central Major Projects Delivery Partner. You will ensure that the “digital thread” runs through every stage of the construction lifecycle, from design validation to on-site testing.

The Role

Sitting within the Digital Delivery & Engagement workstream, you will oversee the governance, reporting, and operational rhythm for our most complex technology packages—including Master Systems Integration (MSI) and smart building pilots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Governance Frameworks: Design and maintain a robust PMO structure that aligns with the overarching Delivery Partner’s standards.
• Integrated Scheduling: Map technical milestones (software, IoT, and hardware) against physical construction RIBA stages to ensure zero-clash delivery.
• Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the primary interface for reporting between the technical teams and the central Programme Office.
• RAID Management: Proactively manage risks and dependencies, specifically where digital delivery relies on physical estate readiness.
• Performance Insights: Transform complex project data into clear, actionable dashboards for executive leadership.

Who You Are

• Major Project Experience: You have a proven track record in a PMO role for Large-Scale Capital Infrastructure or Smart Building programs.
• Methodology Mastery: You are fluent in Integrated Project Delivery and understand how to align “Agile” digital teams with “Waterfall” construction schedules.
• Strategic Partner: You are comfortable working as part of a Digital Partner firm, navigating the complexities of multi-stakeholder governance.
• Tech-Savy: While you don’t need to be a developer, you understand the language of Systems Integration, Digital Twins, and BIM.
