In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.[Insert Site information here]What You’ll Be DoingIn this dynamic role as a Process Technologist, you will support the development of manufacturing capability to take approved product concepts into full-scale production.Working closely with cross-functional teams and customers, you will ensure products are delivered in line with food safety, technical, health & safety, financial and commercial standards, supporting successful launches in a fast-paced environment.Role Accountabilities Deliver manufacturing trials in line with critical paths, using structured problem-solving to identify, capture and resolve issues across functions Prepare and complete transit tests, review microbiological and nutritional results, and ensure alignment with customer codes and project objectives Facilitate post-trial evaluations, coordinating samples, reviewing organoleptic assessments and producing QAS reports with clear action plans Conduct food safety validations in line with site CCPs and HACCP principles, ensuring compliance with retailer procedures Manage raw materials and packaging approval status, controlling costs and proactively resolving issues to protect the critical path Plan and support customer panels, build effective stakeholder relationships and implement improvements based on feedback Monitor factory processes, collect and analyse data, identify issues in standard production and support cost reduction opportunities Complete controlled trial, pre-production and launch documentation accurately and on time Operate safely at all times, complying with legislation, reporting hazards promptly and supporting continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performanceWhat We’re Looking For Experience working within a manufacturing or process-led environment Strong understanding of food safety, technical and production standards Ability to manage critical paths and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously Confident problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused mindset Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions Proactive approach to continuous improvement and delivering business outcomes Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesAt Greencore we put our people at the core.
