Fully Funded PhD Opportunity – Tumor Digital Twins in Precision Oncology
📍 University of Seville / IBiS (Spain) + Long Island University (New York, USA)
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate to join an international project at the interface of cancer biology, AI, and computational medicine.
Our group at the University of Seville / IBiS, in collaboration with Long Island University and the Dassault Systèmes Center of Excellence in Life Sciences, is developing tumor digital twins — advanced computational models that integrate clinical, molecular, and biological data to better predict tumor behavior and treatment response.
This is a fully funded PhD focused on combining:
Experimental cancer biology (in vitro / in vivo)
Omics data analysis
AI and systems biology
Mechanistic / agent-based modeling
Translational oncology
The selected candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary and international environment, with dedicated research time in both the Faculty of Medicine, University of Seville / IBiS and Long Island University.
🗓️ Start: September 2026 (flexible)
⏳ Duration: 3–4 years
💰 Fully funded: stipend + tuition fees included
We are looking for candidates with a background in cancer biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, AI, systems biology, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
