Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rochester for a Bodyshop Controller. The Bodyshop Controller will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the bodyshop, ensuring all repair work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Key tasks include coordinating workflow, managing communication between technicians and customers, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves working closely with the management team to meet business targets and maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience in bodyshop management, workflow coordination, and team leadership
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs, mechanical servicing, and manufacturer-approved processes
Effective communication and customer service skills for maintaining strong client relationships
Proficiency in inventory management and familiarity with relevant software systems
Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality assurance and safety compliance
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment
Previous experience in automotive or bodyshop industry is highly desirable
Valid driver’s license and knowledge of health and safety practices are essential
