We’re Looking For
You will be a qualified teacher (QTS) with successful experience teaching within the 1116 phase and a strong track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons. You will have excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics and a clear understanding of current curriculum developments.
You will be a confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong professional relationships. With a passion for education, you will be committed to raising achievement and inspiring a love of learning in all students.

Main Purpose Of The Role
In addition to the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, the Lead Teacher of Maths will play a key role in raising standards of teaching, learning and student achievement across the Mathematics curriculum.

You will also deputise for the Curriculum Leader where required and take responsibility for agreed areas of departmental leadership.
