Position Overview:
The Vice President of Global Operations is a key member of the company’s executive leadership team, holding comprehensive responsibility for formulating and executing global operational strategies to drive efficient business operations and sustainable growth. Operating within a multi-national and multi-business unit environment, this role requires optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs, while ensuring that organizational operations remain fully aligned with the company’s overarching strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement global operational strategies to support the company’s long-term development and scale expansion.
Oversee and coordinate global supply chains, production, logistics, customer delivery, and service systems.
Drive operational standardization and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
Establish and refine Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks; continuously monitor and improve operational performance.
Manage cross-regional operations teams, enhancing organizational capabilities and execution effectiveness.
Champion digital transformation and automation initiatives to elevate the level of operational intelligence.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to ensure synergistic business development.
Control operational costs to enhance profitability and optimize resource utilization efficiency.
Identify and manage operational risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and business continuity.
Participate in major corporate decision-making processes and provide strategic operational counsel to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher; a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
20+ years of experience in operations management, including at least 5 years of experience in multinational or global operations management.
Proven experience in building and establishing operational systems within large-scale enterprises or rapidly growing organizations.
Familiarity with methodologies such as Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Business Process Reengineering.
Exceptional strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with the ability to successfully drive the implementation of complex projects.
Outstanding leadership skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.
Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions; proficiency in using operational analytics tools.
Fluent in English (essential for a global business environment).
