AI Senior Product Owner – UK – 6 months – £500/day – Hybrid (2 days onsite) We are hiring an experienced AI Senior Product Owner to lead the delivery of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions within a large-scale, regulated banking environment. This role will focus on translating AI capabilities into production-ready products, driving end-to-end delivery, and ensuring responsible, compliant AI adoption across business-critical workflows.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring strong experience in AI product ownership, stakeholder management, and working with LLM-driven systems in complex environments.Key Responsibilities Define and deliver AI product roadmaps, translating business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaLead end-to-end AI product delivery from discovery and experimentation through to deployment, scaling, and optimisationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholdersDrive the integration of LLMs and Generative AI into core business processes and decision-making workflowsEmbed responsible AI practices including explainability, fairness, and compliance into product design and deliveryManage and prioritise product backlogs, balancing innovation, technical constraints, and business valueEngage with stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and validate product opportunitiesOversee AI product performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement post-deploymentEnsure alignment with regulatory, risk, and governance frameworks within a banking environmentCommunicate product progress, risks, and priorities clearly to senior leadership Must-Have Experience Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering complex AI or digital productsHands-on experience with AI/ML products including LLMs, Generative AI, and advanced analyticsExperience translating AI capabilities into scalable, production-ready solutionsProven experience working within regulated environments, ideally banking or financial servicesStrong understanding of AI life cycle including data dependencies, model evaluation, and monitoringExperience embedding Responsible AI principles including explainability, bias mitigation, and transparencyExperience working within Agile/SAFe delivery environments with ownership of backlog and roadmapStrong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and data teamsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Contract Details Day Rate: £500 per dayLength: 6 months (extension potential)Start: ASAPLocation: Bristol – Hybrid (2 days onsite)
