Trainee Commercial Assistant Full Time

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial Team. Job Description:

As a Trainee Commercial Assistant, you will provide support to the Commercial Team across a range of duties, including:

• Assisting with preparation of Logistics, Strip Out, Hoarding, Protection, Site Setup and Waste Away pricing schedules and quotations.
• Supporting with take-offs from drawings and on-site measurements.
• Carrying out general administrative duties and electronic housekeeping of filing.
• Managing new tender enquiries, including:

– Adding projects to trackers

– Opening project folders

– Downloading and organising relevant documentation

• Attending site visits (tender stage) to assess project requirements and reporting findings back to the Commercial Team.
• Attending site visits (live projects) and reporting findings back to the Commercial Team.
• Assisting with the preparation of valuations and related documentation.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment.
• A background or interest in construction would be beneficial but is not essential.
