Job Description

Scope of the Role

We are currently looking for a full time Warehouse Picker and Packer to join our growing team. The role is based within our warehouse and focuses on the efficient and accurate handling of online orders and stock.

Our team is built of hard working individuals who are willing to go the extra mile for customers and colleagues alike. You must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and remain calm and adaptable. Reliability, conscientiousness and excellent time management are essential. A positive can do attitude is vital, as we are a small team and rely on each other to perform at a high standard.

Warehouse Duties

• Unpacking new stock and restocking shelves correctly, including manual handling and careful checking of deliveries against purchase orders
• Hands on preparation of products, including the use of hand tools, applying tape and glue, and repairing minor damage where required
• Correctly following company procedures for documenting and reporting faulty products
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Processing customer returns
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Experience and Skills

The following experience and skills are preferred:

• Warehouse picking and packing experience of at least 1 year
• Retail experience of at least 2 years
• High attention to detail with the ability to keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Automotive knowledge or a strong interest in cars
• Strong team working skills with the ability to work unsupervised when required
• Good communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Awareness of health and safety requirements
• Previous experience within the automotive industry or a genuine passion for cars
• GCSE grade C or above preferred

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

9.00am to 5.00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
