Site Services Engineer / £28 – £32K / Cambridge / Onsite & Travel
We’re working with a leading engineering and technology business to find a Site Services Engineer to support the delivery of advanced lighting control systems across the UK.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll play a key part in commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting customers on-site. If you enjoy problem-solving, working directly with clients, and seeing projects through to completion, this could be a great fit.
The Role
As a Site Services Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring systems are installed, commissioned, and performing to a high standard across a variety of customer sites.
You’ll be:
- Commissioning lighting control systems on sites nationwide
- Providing technical support and fault-finding expertise
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers on-site
- Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end users
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and commissioning records
- Identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Feeding back insights to support product and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in commissioning, electrical systems, or a similar field-based engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicating with customers and stakeholders
- Well-organised, able to manage workload across multiple sites
- A proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
