Cults Library is a charitable organization registered under Charity Number SC053904. We are a commmnity-led charity seeking to reopen Cults Library and secure its future for generations to come.

Role Description

The Trustee Treasurer will oversee the financial management of Cults Library, ensuring transparency and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial reports to the board. This is a voluntary position requiring a commitment of 1-2 hours per month.

Ideally, the Trustee would be resident in Lower Deeside, Aberdeen (although this is not essential).

Qualifications

• Financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting, and record-keeping.
• Experience with charity regulations and compliance and/or prior experience as a trustee or in a similar role would be an advantage.
• The role does not require an accountancy qualification.
