Within JCDecaux UK the role of Digital Infrastructure Support Analyst (DISA) provides the company with initial deployment, configuration, and support of network connected devices across the digital estate. The role is pivotal in ensuring that the digital network, on which our content player assets reside, is maintained in a reliable and consistent state. The DISA sits within the Digital Infrastructure team, part of the Service Delivery department.The role reports to the Digital Infrastructure Team Leader (DITL) and works closely with the Campaign Management department within the Commercial Sales division as well as Digital Support, Incident Management and Projects teams within the Technical Operations division.JCDecaux UK is a challenging and ever evolving company where improvements to processes, systems and working practices are continually strived for, and the role of DISA is crucial to both the division and wider company’s success.CapabilitiesWhat you’ll be doing…Issue Management & SupportImprove systems by studying current practices, suggesting modifications to the DITL and Head of Digital Services (HDS)Prepare incident reports collecting, analysing and summarizing informationImplement router, switch, firewall, etc firmware updates to the infrastructure estateMonitoring of primarily large format digital network equipment e.g. video processors, etcAnalysis of issues and incidents logged to the Service Delivery ticket systemSupport for scheduling digital campaigns and one off exceptional or unusual dynamic campaignsHighlight and escalate concerns regarding physical/network security concerns to DITL for review and appraisalStakeholder Management Communicates with project stakeholders at all levelsForges and strengthens relationships with the businessCommunication of issues and risks in projects to the DSSTL, HDS and SBA-DIGExcellent interpersonal skills to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externallyTechnicalExperience of working with digital out of home technologies (KIS, Broadsign, OneLAN, etc)Experience in working with ticket systems (CONNECT for Service, Zendesk, etc)Experience using various operating systems (Linux and Windows variants)Quality ManagementAdherence to the philosophy of continuous improvement through examination of all outcomes of processes, regardless of either a positive or negative outcomeEnsures standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed and where audits find non-adherence to SOP that corrective actions are completed in a timely mannerPersonal Ability to listen, adapt and make suggestionsAbility to persuade, to negotiateAbility to make measured appraisal of risk in different situationsLanguages: Fluency in English, French desirableHighly motivated and project orientatedStrong organisational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and documentation skillsExcellent analysis, testing and troubleshooting skillsStrong written and presentation skillsSystematic and timely approach to incident managementConfident to take the lead on digital support issues and have the confidence to work on challenging and complex support problemsAdherence to health and safety guidelines when working on site and undergo any requiredQualificationsA little bit about you…Educated in a Business, IT or engineering related field or relevant industry experience with at least 4 years in a technology support function/roleWorking towards CMNO, CCNA or equivalentA Little Bit More About Us…We believe in building a diverse and inclusive culture and positive employee experience.
