We are recruiting for a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor that is actively raising standards within the damp and waterproofing industry.This is not a tick-box surveying role. This is for someone who understands building pathology, can diagnose issues properly, and wants to be part of a business that values quality over volume.The OpportunityThis is a key hire within the business. You will have autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to genuinely influence how projects are diagnosed and delivered.You’ll be working in a company where: Surveys are done properly, not rushed Clients are educated, not sold to Quality and reputation matterThe RoleAs a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor, you will carry out detailed inspections across residential and commercial properties, identifying root causes and producing clear, professional reports.You will be trusted to: Diagnose damp issues correctly (not just surface-level reporting) Assess waterproofing requirements including Type A and Type C systems Produce commercially sound recommendations Build trust with clients through clear, confident communicationRequirements CSSW or CSTDB qualified (PCA) Experience as a Damp Surveyor / Waterproofing Surveyor Strong report writing and client-facing ability Full UK driving licenceDesirable: Basement / structural waterproofing experience Broader understanding of building defects and designLocation & TravelProjects across London and Greater London.You will attend the Watford / Kings Langley office regularly for meetings, reporting, and team collaboration.Package & Benefits £42,000 – £52,000 depending on experience Bonus / commission structure Company vehicle or allowance Pension 28 days holiday + birthday leave Ongoing training and development Clear progression as the business growsWhy This RoleThis is an opportunity to step into a business that is genuinely trying to do things the right way.You’ll be valued for your technical ability, given the space to do the job properly, and have the chance to grow as the company continues to expand.
