We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that’s transforming today’s workforce.
Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.
In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.
But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.
Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a technically strong IT Technical Lead to join our lean IT Operations team. This is a hands-on role with real scope – you’ll be trusted to own critical programmes end-to-end, build automation that genuinely reduces toil, and act as a technical authority across projects that span the full business.
You’ll report directly to the Head of IT Operations and work closely with Engineering, Security, Legal, and People teams. If you enjoy solving hard technical problems, building things that scale, and seeing your work have a direct impact on a company people love – this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Build and ship automations that actually matter
Drive our most critical technical programmes
Keep projects moving and stakeholders in the loop
What You’ll Bring
We value different perspectives and a variety of backgrounds. Technical depth matters, but we care just as much about your mindset – the way you approach problems, the rigour you bring to your work, and your drive to build things that last.
We’d love to hear from you if:

What We Offer
We value what you bring. At Multiverse, we are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the world we live in. We are actively working to improve diversity within our technical departments.
Not a “perfect” match? Apply anyway. Research shows that while some candidates apply for roles when they meet a portion of the criteria, they often only apply if they meet every single requirement. We don’t want you to miss out. If you are passionate about this role and have a solid technical foundation, but don’t check every single “Bonus” box, please still submit your application. We hire for potential, mindset, and the unique perspective you bring.
