🚀 Hiring: Engineering Manager (Hands-On) | Remote, Northern Ireland

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth, AI-driven technology company as they build out their engineering team in Northern Ireland, and we’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to play a key role in that journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with active development, leading from the front while still staying close to the code.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers while contributing directly to the design and development of scalable systems. Working across backend, frontend, and cloud environments, you’ll drive architecture decisions, improve engineering standards, and ensure high-quality delivery across the board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading, coaching, and growing a team of engineers

• Remaining hands-on with development (primarily .NET/C# and modern APIs)

• Driving system design, architecture, and technical direction

• Implementing best practices across testing, CI/CD, and observability

• Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and key stakeholders

• Creating a strong, collaborative engineering culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role

• Strong background in backend development (ideally .NET/C#)

• Experience designing and building scalable systems

• Passion for mentoring and developing engineers

• Comfortable working in modern, cloud-based environments

• A hands-on mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
