Authority / purpose of the position
We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to lead and execute localized marketing strategies across the UK, Ireland & Nordics regions regions, with a strong focus on on-the-ground event execution and offline campaign management. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in biotech/pharmaceutical marketing, capable of aligning regional activities with global objectives while fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Location: UK
Key Responsibilities
• Regional Strategy Development
o Design and implement localized marketing plans aligned with corporate goals.
o Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to optimize outreach.
• Offline Event Execution
o Lead end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of regional events (e.g., conferences, workshops, product launches).
o Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
o Monitor event ROI and provide post-event analysis for continuous improvement.
o Traveling up to 30-40% depending on the offline events frequency.
• Local Campaign Management
o Develop localized promotional materials and campaigns tailored to regional regulations and cultural nuances with internal team.
o Collaborate with digital marketing team on social media promotion, webinars, and newsletter optimization. Track and analyze the results to enhance engagement with local customers and optimize local strategies.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement
o Build relationships with KOLs, academia professionals, distributors, and industry associations.
o Work closely with sales and global marketing teams to align messaging and tactics.
• Budget & Reporting
o Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
o Track KPIs and deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership.
Knowledge/Experience/Competence
1.Knowledge:(Education/Major/Certification):
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field.
2.Experience(Professional、Project/Process、Leadership):
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors. o Proven track record in planning and executing offline events/campaigns.
3.General Competence:
Excellent communication skills in English.
Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
4.Professional Competence:
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in marketing solutions and applications such as Salesforce, Adobe, Canva and Constant Contact, or other similar tools; as well as Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
