Built in partnership with a network of community-based Impact charities, it’s a focused, hands-on work experience designed around the people it serves, including those facing:Youth or long-term unemploymentPrison leaversHomelessnessRefugee resettlementLiving with disabilityReporting to the Head of Purpose and Programmes, as a Work Coach, you’ll oversee the planning and delivery of CFW end to end. You’ll own the established programmes at the National Theatre and Seven Dials Market, from developing referral pathways and coordinating placements, to coaching candidates and securing real employment outcomes.As the programme grows across the UK and internationally, you’ll work closely with fellow coaches and managers to ensure consistency in delivery, data capture and reporting. You’ll also feed into the development of our wider education, skills and mentoring offer, with a focus on accessibility, accredited training, workshops and apprenticeships.This role is for someone who loves brilliant food and exceptional hospitality just as much as they care about changing people’s lives.What you’ll be doingDelivering a programme of learning and development that includes monitoring and acting on referrals, meeting and assessing candidates, and offering 1-2-1 coaching and placement guidance in the form of setting goals, creating space for placement reflection and feedback, preparation for interview and ongoing coaching guidance as candidates move into employment or towards building a career in hospitalityCareful monitoring of referrals and placement progression and data capture for monthly and annual social impact reporting including the development of case studies for marketing purposesWork with the People teams, department leads, impact and hospitality partners and KERB’s membership base to maximise learning and recruitment opportunitiesBuilding effective relationships with our Impact partners, including assisting with the development of engagement activities, such as recruitment days/events, service user visits, fundraising and volunteering opportunitiesWork with the Head of Purpose & Programmes and fellow Work & Business Coaches/Managers as the CFW programme expands, both in the UK and internationally, to ensure consistency in programme delivery, systems and processes, including data capture and reportingMonitor and present regular reports on progress, including detailed case studies of success storiesWhat you’ll bring to KERBExcellent people skills, comfortable communicating with colleagues and partners in a straightforward and open manner whilst forming long-term relationshipsPersonable, with the ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders at all levelsAn interest in the independent food industry and wider food scene of LondonExcellent listening capability with a genuine interest in helping people growSomeone who has experienced KERB markets and events, has a genuine passion for KERB, and is motivated to work with social impact partners to make the UK a more vibrant and delicious place to liveA good grasp of relevant techProactive / self-starter with lots of initiativeIt would be great if you already hold a National/international recognised Coaching Qualification, but this isn’t a requirementIdeally experience of working in street-food, hospitality and/or a social enterprise environmentWhat you’ll get by joining KERBGenerous F&B discount across KERB food and drinks25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) + birthday day offHealth Cash Plan (Medicash)Personal Wellbeing Allowance (Juno)CODE App MembershipPrivate Medical Insurance (Vitality)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Cycle To Work schemeAnnual season ticket loanEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave after 2 yearsA London Living Wage and Disability Confident Committed employerA Best Companies accredited employerDiversity & InclusionAs part of our values, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity at KERB.
