waste/recycling Picking Operative Full Time

We are looking for a reliable Picking station operative to work full time at our Recycling station

Experience:

• If you have waste picking line experience please include which company you have done this for and if possible give a contact for a reference

Key Resposabilitys:

• Ensure recyclate is segregated into the correct streams in an clean and effective manner
• To be responsible for making sure the site is secure, safe, clean, tidy and well maintained
• Operate plant and machinery in accordance with training, procedures, and legislation, including reporting of defects
• Recording all accidents, near-misses or dangerous situation

About you

Ideally you will have experience working within the Recycling industry. We are looking for someone with good communication skills who is courteous and polite and able to work individually or as part of a team.

The right candidate must be very punctual and be willing to do overtime where necessary.

Please be aware the picking station processes commercial and domestic waste.

Competitive rates of pay are offered for the right candidate.
