Peppers, a renowned company in the cable termination industry, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our operations team. As a member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of our business, including picking components, assembling products, and packing/despatching orders. Full training will be provided to ensure proficiency in these tasks.
Job Title: Process Assistant
- 08:00 to 16:30 – Monday to Friday
- £12.71-£12.85 per hour
- Permanent, full time
- Pension scheme

The role of a process assistant requires continuous standing, engaging in manual handling tasks, and regularly lifting heavy objects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Efficiently pick components and assemble products according to established guidelines.
– Ensure accurate packing and timely dispatch of orders to meet customer requirements.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
– Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Strong reading, writing, and counting skills
– No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
– Excellent time management skills to meet production targets and deadlines.
– Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
– Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
