Warehouse Order Picker Full Time

Baumhaus Ltd is a furniture manufacturing and import company based in Upper Heyford, Bicester. We supply a range of furniture to retailers across the UK. As part of our operations, we also run our own delivery fleet through our logistics division, Kinetic Logistics, ensuring reliable and efficient service from warehouse to customer.

Summary

We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Picker to join our team on the afternoon shift. This is a hands-on warehouse role in a busy environment, where you’ll be working with a wide range of large and bulky items – from TVs to pergolas and garden sheds.

Please note: this is a physically demanding role, and some items are heavy and require two-person lifting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Picking customer orders using hand scanners
• Labelling items with mobile printers
• Driving tow tractors and operating forklifts to move stock (training available)
• Handling and moving heavy products – often requiring team lifts
• Working in a busy warehouse alongside other teams
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and safe at all times
• Ensuring a high level of accuracy with every pick and label

What we’re looking for:

• Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy and awkward items
• A strong team player with good communication
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Previous warehouse or is helpful (but not essential)

Shift & Pay:

• Hourly rate starting at £14.20
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Overtime maybe available – paid at enhanced rates
• Double time paid for Sunday hours
• Some weekend work may be required during busy periods
• A forklift training will be provided
